The Chairman opened the meeting outlining the need for the Parish Council to consider its response to PPL's appeal against TDC's refusal. The Chairman stated that there is now a great deal of information in the public domain.

Cllrs discussed the situation and length. Following discussions Cllr Leahy proposed that the Parish Council respond to the Planning Inspectorate stating that they reiterate their original objections and send a copy for reference, that the Parish Council request the opportunity to speak at any hearing and further that a request for the hearing to be held in Winkleigh is made- 2nd Cllr Bowers: voting: 6 for, 0 against, 1 abstention (J.C.): MOTION CARRIED. The Clerk was instructed to e-mail the response to the Inspectorate and to also forward 3 postal copies.

Further discussions took place regarding PPL's appeal. Cllr Bowers raised a number of issues that she felt added to the weight of the Parish Council's objection including issues of noise, emission levels and inaccurate traffic figures. Cllrs debated adding further information to their existing objection finally agreeing on no addition to the existing proposal at this stage.

Discussions then moved to the public meeting called for the 13th December. Cllr Bowers stated that the Parish Council must be prepared for the meeting adding that flyers are being delivered door-to -door with Distinctly Winkleigh and that posters are being displayed.
