The Minutes of Extraordinary General Meeting held
on Monday 19th December 2005 at 7.30pm

| Cllr King took the Chair in the absence of Cllr Stutt and opened the meeting |

Public Period S1.12.05. Planning New Applications a) 1/2304/2005/FUL: Demolition of existing single storey buildings, replacing with two storey extension plus separate double garage, Farthings, Hatherleigh Road, Winkleigh: Cllrs discussed the application and stated that there were no objections to the application. Cllr J.Turner proposed that the application be approved as the development would improve the property - 2nd Cllr Bowers: All in favour: MOTION CARRIED: APPROVED
Cllr J.Turner stated that he was encouraged that some work was being
started on the sewerage treatment works and proposed that the application
be approved, 2nd Cllr Bowers: All in favour: MOTION CARRIED: APPROVED |

S2.12.05 . Finance The Clerk advised that the Parish Council had yet to agree the donation
to be made to the Royal British Legion for the Remembrance Wreath. Cllr
De Louvois stated that it needed to be clearly stated in the Parish
Council records that the donation would be made to the British Legion
Poppy Appeal. Following discussions it was proposed by Cllr Hodgson
that a donation of £50 be given - 2nd Cllr N.Turner: All in favour:
MOTION CARRIED The following cheques were presented for authorisation and signature: Winkleigh Community Centre (Hire) £ 5.00 Cheque 1110 Cllr Bowers proposed that the above cheques were authorised for payment

S3.12.05. Late Items Cllr Bowers gave a brief update on the biomass application stating that next Thursday Andy Seaman is meeting with officers to decide how best to deal with this application and agree if it will go to the Plans Committee or a special committee is formed. Cllr Bowers advised that on the 7th & 8th January more information will be posted on TDC's website. Cllr Hodgson stated that the waste transfer note issued by Spirebourne needed to be kept in the Parish Council records as the Cemetery is a commercial property and there is legislation in place regarding the transfer of waste. The Clerk confirmed that the receipt will be kept in the Council records. There being no further matters to discuss the meeting was declared closed at 7.43pm.
